Wonderful Winter!

This week we've been busy discussing the winter weather around us. Students made posters of winter words and pictures, went digging through the snow for sight words and even learned a little about Martin Luther King Jr.

I have to say I'm impressed with how much we've learned this year! Our journal writing has progressed from just pictures to writing sentences and sounding out words! Your support at home practicing these things certainly helps!
Finally on Friday we enjoyed duct taping Mrs. Mays to the wall as a reward for our sales of spirit cards in the fall! Be sure to stay tuned for more fun next week as we gear up for our 100th day of school! Currently the 100th day is Monday, January 26th! Don't forget to work on your 100th day fashion show outfit!! :)
