International Week Activities

We have been very busy in our studies about China! It has been fun learning about the different customs and making crafts.
Of course, our dancing was a big hit!

Thanks to Sam's mom for coming and teaching us about Australia!

And Xiaoguo's grandmother, who is visiting from China, demonstrated TaiChi.
Her grandfather even showed us how to write our names in Chinese!
On International Day we visited different classrooms and locations learning about Mexico, Guetamala, The Netherlands, Australia, and Brazil! Can you believe we only have 8 days left of kindergarten!
It has been a fun year!

Visitors, caterpillars and Derby days

Another busy few weeks in Kindergarten! Mr. Jason, Jax's dad came to teach about life in the Army! We learned alot about the hard work the military does to protect our country! The big excitement in our room recently has been our caterpillars. It has been amazing to watch them transform into beautiful butterflies!

We had our own Derby races on Friday! We've learned alot about Kentucky traditions for the Derby as well as interesting Kentucky facts! Be sure to watch the Derby to see if your child's horse wins!

Have a great week! Stay tuned for more fun as we prepare for 1st grade in just 22 days!
