Happy Grandparents Day!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! Look what's going on in our room!
The kids loved making handprint trees and recognizing letters of the alphabet.

Our first Open Response Question was "easy cheesy" as the kids say! :) We used counted cubes and had to choose which tower had more and which had less.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who attended Grandparents Day at Western! We enjoyed your visit and hope you did too!

Another great week in Kindergarten! In math we are exploring numbers to ten by recognizing, writing and counting. Reading workshop has been full of learning about rhyming words as well as making connections to the story we are reading. Everyone is doing a great job getting into the school routine!

We are also getting in the spirit for Western's Book Fair which goes through next week!
Check out Isaac and Riley on "Mixed up Martian" day!
