February and Field Trip Fun!

It's been a busy month in Kindergarten!

We celebrated Valentine's Day with candy heart graphing and a party full of ice cream sundaes and treats shared with friends!

Our field trip to the Explorium was tons of fun as we learned how to take better care of our teeth.

 Of course everyone loved exploring the sights and sounds the Explorium had to offer!

Happy 100th Day!! :) Finally!

Can you believe our original 100th day was scheduled for early January?! Of course it was to good to be true! We finally celebrated on February 11th and enjoyed every minute!

Our 100th Day Parade around the school was a big hit! The kids loved showing off their shirts, hats and posters as we walked the halls of LME!

 As you can see, even the teachers got in on the 100th day fun, dressing like 100 year olds!

Here's to more fun days of learning at LME!!

Jump Rope Assembly

The "Mustang Movers" from Western Elementary visited LME on Friday and put on quite a show! Students learned about our Jump Rope for Heart program and some even got some practice. Our PE teacher, Mrs. Handy, will be working on jump roping skills while the kids participate in Jump Rope for Heart. Be sure to check your child's folder for more information!
