100th Day Hooray!

It's hard to believe we have been in school for (over) 100 days now! 

 We celebrated the 100th day with a parade through the school showing off our 100th day fashions. 

From gumball machines to capes and crazy hats, our kindergarteners showed a lot of creativity!

Thanks to all who made our 100th day a special event! 

Better late than never!

To anyone reading out there, I'm very sorry for the lack of blog updates! For some crazy reason Blogger wasn't letting me upload pictures! Thankfully I was able to today and hope you enjoy some of our exciting events from November and December. 

 Career Day was a big hit! We met Smokey the Bear, learned what it takes to be a veterinarian, dental assistant, police officer and much more!

 In December we celebrated the holidays with a fun Polar Express Party/Pajama day! Aren't we cute?

Book Character Day

 Book character day was a huge hit! We saw everything from Tim Tebow to princesses and superheroes! Check out our cool costumes!

Fire Safety Fun

The week before Fall Break we learned about different community helpers! The Georgetown Fire Department even came for a visit! Of course they taught us a lot and we even got to see the fire truck up close! It was a great day! 

Brenna helped demonstrate how to "STOP, DROP, and ROLL" if your clothes catch on fire! 

 Ethan was lucky enough to get to try on a real life "kid sized" Firefighter outfit! 

 We now know that if we see a firefighter dressed like this it's nothing to be scared about,

 they are here to help us!

 As usual we enjoyed centers as well as reading and math lessons all week long!
