St. Patrick's Day and Science Fun

Wow! Have we been busy! Spring has come and everyone is anxious for the fun it will bring! We have been hard at work getting ready for 1st grade! Check out what we've been up to!

Happy Birthday Larry!

In Science, we have been talking about properties of objects. Students below are doing a project to see what objects sink and which ones float. We also used magnifying glasses to explore objects.Ashton and Makenzi are having a great time using the talking microscopes to learn about different bugs!
We have really enjoyed having Andrew's dad, Mr. Carlos, come to do Junior Achievement in our classroom! We have learned about money and the importance of being a hard worker!
St. Patrick's day was lots of fun! We went on a scavenger hunt around the school and found a pot of gold at the end!
We've gotten really good at graphing! Here we are graphing Lucky Charms!

Thanks for stopping by! Check back next week for more exciting Kindergarten activities and our class egg hunt! THANK YOU to everyone who has already brought in items!

We've had another great week in Kindergarten! Experimenting with measurement in math was fun! We also enjoyed celebrating Dr. Suess's birthday all week through making "Cat in the Hat" snacks, reading Dr. Suess books and welcoming parent readers!

Happy 6th Birthday Xiaoguo!
